on noise
the future has always been perceived as noise
unintelligible.
the future has always been perceived as the unknown
disconcerting.
the past is understandable it is looked to with nostalgia
comforting.
"it was simpler then now everything is falling apart." people will say.
this is a lie.
this is hindsight.
things have always been falling apart.
as memory, this entropy is seen in context it is not the unknown it is looked to with nostalgia.
it was cutting edge!
exciting!
now understandable.
on a global scale
it takes approximately 20 years for noise to become understandable.
intelligible.
the children understand what the parents did not.
20 years for order to be perceived in what was previously chaos.
a new paradigm is built.
a piece of the unknown has now been assimilated.
comforting.
yet chaos rolls on and expands further out of our grasp.
this expansion is noise.
disconcerting.
unintelligible within the existing paradigm
a new one will be built.
the children understand what the parents did not.
the children build the future.
the future has always been perceived as noise.
*****
noise is the layering of seemingly too many probabilities.
noise is generally thought of as auditory...
yet artists often speak of visual noise...
scientists speak of cosmic noise...
noise is the layering of seemingly too many probabilities.
*****
noise is sometimes considered insanity.
*****
in their self indulgent quest for omnipotence, humans will make a practice
of studying noise. with
enough perseverance order can be ferreted out of the seemingly random.
logic can and will be imposed
upon the chaotic to create the gestalt we understand as reality.
*****
noise is generally considered an annoyance... until it is
"understood"... if a map is drawn for others to follow the
"logic" of noise it is considered a monumental human
achievement.
