grab your smoking jacket, pick up a martini, and puff that cigar...everybody's jumping onto the lounge train lately, but this band from Atlanta has been doing it for the past few years and doing it well! my sister who has actually seen them perform live down in Florida (as opposed to me, who has only experienced their disc) says the audiences that attend their shows take this shit quite seriously...they show up in full lounge regalia...pill box hats included. the first time I heard the disc I laughed and laughed, thinking it kitchy and goofy...well some time has passed now and I still think it's kitchy and goofy, but more importantly I'm still listening to it! the musicians are great, the horn section is excellent and the vocalist is perfect. I'd love to see them come up to the northeast and do a show with a band like skavoovie and the epitones...that would be the balls! (maybe entropy press can hook it up?) (we'll see what we can do for our big party next may!-rlm) anyhow, in the meantime I suggest you check out the disc if you can find it...if not, contact the record company at:
