He wanted her to lie to herself as well
as she lied to him. Now spit and blood clogged his mouth.
Now, fumbled utters brought only jumbled mutters
to his lips where drool and foam dribbled down his face.
He...Hated...Her...He wanted to destroy her
false love. He...hated...her...
talk of love that had died. He recalled she lied
when his fears gripped the wheel as the car slipped
off the road and crumpled.
In a ditch he lay, dying.
