TOXIC NARCOTIC. PEOPLE SUCK. RODENT POPSICLE

this ain't no "do you have the time to listen to me whine" punk pap. this is more a: "SILENCE! WHILST I BLUDGEON YOUR EMPTY SKULL WITH MY OPINION and consequently drink myself into delirium" kind of scenario.

well hell, i'm impressed!

X-ray of skull being penetrated by surgical instruments since I basically agree with the malthusian principles of overpopulation and general overall strife caused by inherent human idiocy expressed in these songs, I can't help but try to sing along to the "sphincter vocals" (a phrase coined by my friend sonya) which in this case is not a detriment, but an asset to the music since it fully reinforces the concept of the lyrics. in fact, that's what I think impresses me most about toxic narcotic, the overall presentation of the ideas in question. any which way you dissect this music you get the point. not only is it conceptually strong, it is musically much more than basic bar chord punk (and I hesitate to even call TN punk because of the sickening taste the current "commercially zip-locked - hyped - dye my hair green - punk" leaves in my mouth...this, as I mentioned before, they are not...they're for real... basically they're a bunch of talented shit-kickers making balls-out music)

the CD was recorded with the original three man line up, however, should you see them live, you'll note the addition of a fourth player (might I use the term literally and figuratively?) either way the music is tight. live performances, of course, depend upon the amount of beer, t.h.c. and carrot juice imbibed before a set, but even then it's still impressive.
